HARMONITOR, one of STAR4BBS sister projects together with SUSTCERT4BIOBASED, has developed a new survey on certification schemes (CSs) and labels. Aim of the survey is to explore how robust CSs and labels for bio-based chemicals and materials are and what could be the major weaknesses through an open, public consultation.
The survey can be filled following this link.
The survey is anonymous, only demographic data will be collected to categorize stakeholders and the country they are based in. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
STAR4BBS, HARMONITOR and SUSTCERT4BIOBASED are EU projects funded under the same call (CL6-2021-ZEROPOLLUTION-01-07: International and EU sustainability certification schemes for bio-based systems). We work together in order to improve the effectiveness of CSs and labels for bio-based products.
While STAR4BBS develops indicators and a new monitoring system for assessing the robustness of existing international and EU schemes and related traceability systems, HARMONITOR‘s goal is to promote and contribute to better quality and more trustable certification schemes and labels available in the market, with a focus on bio-based materials including, for example, innovative bio-based chemicals, forestry products for construction materials, and textiles. Finally, SUSTCERT4BIOBASED aims to assess and promote the adoption of sustainability certification schemes and labels for industrial biobased systems.
